Matthew Lombardi, RCE, is the Vice President of Conventions for the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). NAR is “The Voice for Real Estate” and the world’s largest trade association with over 1 million members.
Matt and his team manage all aspects of NAR’s two national meetings including programming, logistics, planning, and sales/marketing as well as 100+ other special meetings each year. The annual REALTORS® Conference & Expo is the largest real estate event in the US attracting 20,000+ attendees and 350+ exhibitors each November; the REALTORS® Legislative Meetings & Trade Expo held in Washington, DC each May attracts 8,000+ attendees.
He previously held the positions of Vice President of Marketing and Marketing Research for NAR and Chief Marketing Officer for REALTOR® University. Matt oversaw the rebranding of the National Association of REALTORS® in 2010 and established the brand standards and guidelines for REALTOR® University in 2013. Additionally, he has also participated in the rebranding efforts of three other national trade associations.
Matt earned his REALTOR® Association Certified Executive (RCE) Designation in 2010. This professional designation is awarded to individuals who have specialized industry knowledge along with academic and association achievements and experience. He is also a member of the Association Forum of Chicagoland, an association of association professionals from over 1,600 Chicago-based organizations.
He has been with NAR since 2003 and has been in the association field since 1992. He is a graduate of John Carroll University with a BSBA degree in Marketing.
